About This Course

The students will become familiar with the language of additive manufacturing technologies, particularly of 3D-printing, and understand their use, as well as the implications that this technology has had in the innovation field.

Erwin Laiho

Erwin Laiho runs the PrintShop at Aalto Design Factory. As a fabricator and designer, he combines CAD and CAM with manual craft processes to realize prototypes for the courses and community of ADF. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture with an Architecture minor from the University of Florida.
