About This Course

The course will help students to understand:

  • the issues of sustainable development and circular economy in the perspective of the development of industry 4.0 and new technologies;
  • how the introduction of new technologies can support a circular economy, particularly by focusing on the importance of data and information.
  • After the course, the Students will:

  • have the general information about Industry 4.0 and related technologies, Sustainable Development Goals and Circular economy;
  • be able to recognize tools and indicators used to assess the circularity of products and services;
  • understand the basic principles of presenting information and data related to sustainability.

    Anna Rolewicz-KaliƄska, Ph.D.

    An expert in the field of waste management. Since 2010, a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Building Installations, Hydrotechnics and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology. For over 15 years, she has been dealing with issues related to waste management and, in the last years of the circular economy, participated in national and international research projects and technical studies in waste management and the environmental impact of waste management. Author of numerous publications in the field of waste management. For many years, she has been training business entities in the practical aspects of waste management.
